Ecology Project
STEP 1: WRITE YOUR CHAPTER
___ 1. Species Introduction ( 1 Paragraph) - Use google Docs( file in your science project folder) to keep track of the sources you are using. You will cite these resourcces at the end of your chapter.
Describe the species
American Name,scientific name, physical appearance
___ 2. Species Description (1-2 Paragraphs)-Use google Docs( file in your science project folder) to keep track of the sources you are using. You will cite these resourcces at the end of your chapter.p
Describe the following

How is human impact effecting your species?
Is the use of particular natural resources having an effect on your species?
___ 4.What can we do to help?( 1 - 2 Paragraphs)
Describe problem solving steps that will lead to your organism no longer being endangered.
Programs that already exist
New ideas that you thought of
STEP TWO: PRESENTATION OF FINDINGS-This can be electronic via a prezi...etc. or on a Tri- Fold Poster ( either will have to be sharable on Presentation day without the use of a smart board)
___1. Your Presentation should be visual and should include the following:
Summaries of the information in STEP 1.
Species Introduction
Description of Species
Factors that change environments and possibly lead to endangerment of your species
What can we do to help?
Pictures of the following: ( They can be photos, printed images, illustrations...etc)
Species
Population
Community
EcoSystem
A Visual image of the Food Web your animal exists in
STEP THREE- CITE YOUR SOURCES!!!!- Make a citation Page
Use google Docs to keep track of the sources you are using. You will cite these resourcces at the end of your chapter.
MLA Format
Any and all reproduction will be met with an instant zero and a visit with the academic board.
